Gone Feis~in'

We're off to Phoenix today!  Irish Dancer Girl has a feis (pronounced "fesh"...it's an Irish dance competition) up there on Saturday.

Jazz hands are not just for jazz dancin'!

Any good luck you can send her way is most appreciated!

I plan on hitting Hobby Lobby, Pottery Barn Kids, Rainforest Cafe and maybe Ikea while we're up in the Valley of the Sun.  Teen Caveboy wants to check out the Heart Attack Grill...for the sandwiches.....yeah....right....you tell me if you think it's all about the burger...

I know...you can't take your eyes off those ginormous burgers...

Sorry to destroy your dreams, Teen Caveboy...if you're really nice though, I'll take you to Burger King and get you a paper crown to wear while you're having your lunch:)

Wishing you all a terrific weekend!!!  See you Monday!  Got some great giveaways brewing for next week too!

xoxo

I almost wrote a post about a teen cave-boy (not yours) who has trouble looking me in the eye...seems every time I try to meet his eyes, they are always flicking up from my chest area...

boys are so cute!

Tuesday's Tribute...Heartbeat..It's a Lovebeat

Yet Another Jay and Deb Production. I am paying my Tuesday's Tribute to Chilly. Today we celebrate our first Heartaversary. What is a Heartaversary, you ask? Well, settle in with a cuppa and let me weave a tale of wonder... One year ago today I was pacing the waiting room floor of University Medical Center in Tucson waiting for my husband’s surgeon to inform me if Chilly had survived his triple bypass. I’ll spare you the sordid details of how all this came about. I’ll just say that it was very fast and unexpected. The prospect of losing my spouse in my early 40’s wasn’t in my plan obviously. My plan was more of a “hanging with the kiddos, going to the Renaissance Faire, beating my son at Guitar Hero, driving my husband crazy for decades” kind of plan. But God always has a bigger plan for us. In this case, he was trying to keep Chilly on the planet for a while longer. As I have written before, Chilly has had two very challenging years. He has been a diabetic for a couple of decade

I've gathered a HUGE amount of goodies for my giveaway! I am taking a poll over the next few days to help me determine if I should break it into several groups of goodies or offer one big lolla-pa-looza! (Just vote over on the left sidebar. I really appreciate your input!) I’ve had a few emails asking me how I chose the items for this extravaganza. I am sharing my favorite things with you! I am also throwing in a few things chosen by Tween Caveboy and Miss Kitty. Plus, I’m adding some fun items from my own shops, Black Crow Boutique and Mon
