If You're Happy and You Know It, Shout Hurray

We have been a very busy bunch here at the Smith casa!  It's been a whirlwind of activities and I finally found a moment to sit a moment to take it all in.  Last weekend we traveled to the Valley of the Sun for the first Irish dance competition of the year.  Cat had a wonderful day!  Loved seeing her in that number 2 spot on the podium!  She looks so poised and adorable.  I am a very proud momma. Lots of school activities, dance, my bi-annual volunteering for the JBF sale as well as book club, parties and more all taking up any free time that may have been hanging around.  Connor was doing lots of sound production this week for local concerts and is currently prepping the sound for the Young Frankenstein musical at school. Lots of travel involved in getting these kids to and from their various activities. In the midst of this craziness, I just needed to take a true moment of stillness to be grateful for all of our blessings.

In the stillness I remembered that I am a very lucky lady.  I am blessed with my children, an incredible family and tons of loving friendships, old and new. If this is any indication of what 2014 is going to be like, I say bring it on! I'm ready for you 2014.  You owe me big time and it looks like you are going to deliver me an awesome year:)

BEE-fuddled and BEE-wildered! A Blessing and a Curse!

As you may know, I am experiencing some problems with Blogger...more specifically Google Friend Connect. Yesterday, my blog was removed by Blogger, and every blog that I follow lost me as a follower ! I still have NO clue why this happened. Fortunately, I was alerted by the FaBuLoUs blueviolet that something was amiss... Shortly after the heads up from blueviolet, I started receiving tons of worried emails from bloggy friends and family. Many were concerned that something (like death!) had happened to poor Chilly. Rest assured, Chilly is alive and well...(if he doesn't start behaving, I don't know how long that will last, but for now he has a pulse!) Shame on you, Google Friend Connect (close family relative to Blogger!) for causing such a panic for my loved ones! The most amusing part of this nightmare is that once I realized what happened, I immediately tried to reconstruct my "blogilicious" list (blog roll). I'm still missing some, but am trying har...
