Caramel! I think I would eat liver if you dunked it in caramel first! Candied is too sticky and sweet and I don't like all those toppings. But caramel---oh, yeah!

Mmmm... CARAMEL (but like you, I'd take one in any shape or flavor)!! :)

I don't really understand the concept of candied, but I do love me a caramel apple. Wanna know what's even better than a caramel apple? Caramel Apple Fondue, that's what!

It depends on my mood. I love the candy ones, but they are very messy and harder to find. I do love the caramel ones, though! I'm not a fan of the chocolate ones.

Dear Dawn. I am in the mood for some spooky glittered cuteness, but my husband hates all that stuff. I know that you, Dawn dearest, have a little shop with lots of adorable stuff, but you haven't posted anything for ages and ages. Do you have a link to a virtual shop? An Etsy shop? A grand collection of flicker photos? Please post or send me linkies...please.

Your dear anonymous friend,
Dapoppins

I must confess, I've never had any one of those types of apples! I just like mine plain n' naked.

Not only that, but I have a fear that if I eat a caramel apple it'll be so sticky that it'll pull out all of my teeth! Irrational, I know...

Only caramel.

Tuesday's Tribute...Heartbeat..It's a Lovebeat

Yet Another Jay and Deb Production. I am paying my Tuesday's Tribute to Chilly. Today we celebrate our first Heartaversary. What is a Heartaversary, you ask? Well, settle in with a cuppa and let me weave a tale of wonder... One year ago today I was pacing the waiting room floor of University Medical Center in Tucson waiting for my husband’s surgeon to inform me if Chilly had survived his triple bypass. I’ll spare you the sordid details of how all this came about. I’ll just say that it was very fast and unexpected. The prospect of losing my spouse in my early 40’s wasn’t in my plan obviously. My plan was more of a “hanging with the kiddos, going to the Renaissance Faire, beating my son at Guitar Hero, driving my husband crazy for decades” kind of plan. But God always has a bigger plan for us. In this case, he was trying to keep Chilly on the planet for a while longer. As I have written before, Chilly has had two very challenging years. He has been a diabetic for a couple of decade
