May Day! May Day!

"It's May....It's May....The Lusty Month of May...That lovely month when everyone goes blissfully astray...."

I love to hear Vanessa Redgrave sing this song everytime I watch "Camelot." I love Julie Andrews, but Vanessa really gives this song the va-va-voom it deserves! (I added the video at the bottom of the post if ya want to watch it..)

Hooray for May! No more bad mojo here! We are making May Day baskets and May poles here today! Catherine will be crowned in flowers as our May Queen! We are celebrating and welcoming in some joyful and abundant new energy here at Bee and Rose today! May brings birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and Catherine's First Feis (Irish dance competition!) Lots to be thankful for this May!

That's right! I want a pink beach cruiser bicycle! (hint hint, Chilly McLimpy)

I had the 70's version, but this was always my favorite one to play. I also want this....
This was my favorite doll! (How weird is it that I use this same font as my signature here!? Tween Caveboy pointed that out!) I loved all of the Dawn dolls! Anyone else have one?

Happy may Day! I have a cruiser and I love it! It is so fun to bike around. You should get a little basket on the front too - perfect for carrying things.

hey....they have that exact samepink Schwinn bike on sale this week at Target...you could hint*hint your way to Target! =) I wanted that bike too...but I wnded up with the Red Sahwinn....I'm ok with that...I ♥ my beach cruiser!

LOVE the bike and yes, i had a dawn. wasn't she the one whose arm you twisted to make her boobs grow? oh, no, that was skipper. but i am sure i had a dawn doll, too.

I don't remember Dawn dolls, but I did have a pink bike like the one you want. Well, mine had a banana seat, but other than that...totally the same. Thanks for the memories.

My hubby's birthday is this month! Had rain already today. So long as we dont get a nasty storm before those irises in the front yard bloom. Last year we had a nasty storm and they got wrecked before they bloomed out nicely.

Freaky Just Got Fabulous!

After a bit of a hiatus created by a series of very unfortunate events, Bee is back and ready to blog!  What better way to conquer the frustrations of life than to have a party! Miss Catherine turned 8 last week and we celebrated over the weekend with a Monster High themed bash at Pump It Up! P ump It Up is an inflatable play arena...we had the whole arena filled with jumping castles, obstacle courses, and giant slides reserved just for our party guests!  It was a blast! Coming down the ginormous slide! (I made personalized student ID party favors for each of the guests!) After an hour of crazy bouncing fun, we headed into to the "Creepeteria" for pizza and cupcakes!    My new favorite cupcake topper...the candy crown cupcake pick These little tasty beauties were made by yours truly!
