As many of you know, my daughter, Catherine, is an Irish Step Dancer at the fabulous Tir Conaill Academy of Irish Dance in Tucson! If you live in Tucson, Phoenix or Albuquerque and are interested in Irish dance classes, call Christopher McGrory at 520-991-3605!

Catherine started dancing at Tir Conaill Academy in 2008 when she was just 5 years old and LOVES it! The classes are fun, the teachers are amazing and the music is fabulous! It's one big happy family at Tir Conaill!

~Michael Patrick Gallagher, (TCRG, ADCRG) two time Irish dance World Champion and lead in Riverdance for 8 years, known for his lightning fast feet, exceptional choreography and as one of the best Irish dancers in the world! Check out his website here...

~ Rosemary Browne, MD (TCRG) instructing Irish dance for over 12 years, our school's fashion expert, also specializing in performance choreography and ceili dancing. She is fondly referred to as the "doctor of dance!" (She really is a doctor specializing in internal medicine and geriatrics!)

One of the things I love best about Tir Conaill is that the dance families support and encourage each dancer every step of the way. Thank you, dance families, for making us feel so welcome when we joined the family two years ago!

Catherine has been competing for just over a year now and is already a Prizewinner in 3 of her dances! She is a wee green dancin' machine!

Along with competing, students at Tir Conaill dance at a variety of events and in performances all around the community. (Adult dancers are welcome to join too!...adult dancers...as in grown-up dancers...not as in strippers...just sayin'!)
